Since 1996 Executive Directors of New Church Planting Organizations have been meeting in Colorado during the second or third week of September. Church Planting is one of the most effective means for growing the Kingdom of God and the Directors want to lead with excellence, precision, and success. The purpose of the Retreat has remained consistent over the years. The Directors meet to hear subject matter experts speak to spiritual formation, executive leadership, planter selection, coaching, management teams, assessment, spousal care, fund-raising, crisis mitigation, church polity, networking, collaboration, ethnic planting, urban and rural issues, international planting, and other topics of interest.
