It’s fun to list and think about all the strong biblical leaders… it’s not so much fun to list those who finished well! Think about it – how many biblical leaders finished well? Some did – but more did not. It takes deliberation and intention to finish well. It requires a healthy dose of self-care. My doctoral studies were at Fuller, and I had the benefit of learning from Archibald Hart (a pioneer in the field of clergy self-care), Bobby Clinton (who specialized in the means and ways of a leader’s self-development and spiritual formation), and Dallas Willard (who really shaped my life.) This webinar will unpack some key lessons I picked up from these leaders – lessons on beating the odds & finishing well.
